 Renewable energy is energy that is collected from renewable resources that are naturally replenished on a human timescale. It includes sources such as sunlight, wind, water (rain, tides, waves), and geothermal heat. There are five major renewable energy sources Solar energy from the sun. Geothermal energy from heat inside the earth. Wind energy. Biomass from plants. Hydropower from flowing water. Which renewable energy is best? Wind comes out on top by a wide margin over all the other sources. It is followed in order by  geothermal, hydro, nuclear and solar .
